REINIS LISMANIS

Reinis Lismanis (1992) is a Latvian artist based in London, UK. In late 2017, Lismanis held his first solo show, Trial and Error, at the Arsenāls Exhibition Hall of the Latvian National Museum of Art. Since 2012, Lismanis has exhibited in group exhibitions at Benaki Museum (Athens), Brighton Photo Fringe, Castello di Levizzano (Modena), Fotopub (Novo Mesto), FUGA (Budapest), Galleria SP3 (Treviso), National Library of Latvia (Riga), Pingyao International Photography Festival, Riga Photomonth, Riga Photography Biennial, Ryerson Image Centre (Toronto), University of Brighton and elsewhere. Lismanis has received the Special Prize at the Riga Photography Biennial and ISSP Gallery’s Seeking the latest in Photography! Award and the University of Brighton Tom Buckeridge Photography Award. He has been selected for Full Contact(SCAN Tarragona) and Plat(t)form 2016 (Fotomuseum Winterthur).
